Gom’s First FPSO Experience At Cascade & Chinook Fields

This presentation will summarize the Cascade and Chinook FPSO project and operational experience, regulatory progression,
along with benefts and drawbacks of the feld development approach.
Jeremiah Daniel, Walker Ridge Facilities Area Manager– Petrobras America Inc. Has worked in the oil industry primarily with foating production
systems since 1981 ( 35 yrs). His experience includes FPSO concept design/ selection to EPCI contracts. His assignments range from Naval Architect
/ Marine Engineer to Project Management and Technical Management. He has worked for Major Oil Companies and for an FPSO Contractor and
acquired Oil Company and Contractor perspective on FPSO project having worked on both sides of the fence. Jeremiah started at Petrobras America
Inc. in Houston on February 2007 and is currently the Walker Ridge Facilities Area Manager. University of Michigan - B.S. Naval Architecture & Marine

Developing Industry Solutions For 20,000 PSI Subsea Developments
Gregory Walz, Sr. Drilling Engineering Advisor; Anadarko Petroleum Corporation
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation is continuing to appraise its Gulf of Mexico Shenandoah discovery. This future development
will require subsea equipment with working pressure ratings greater than 15,000 psi. The equipment development covers the full
swath of activities from drilling and completions through production and interventions. This presentation provides an overview of
Anadarko’s equipment development efforts.
Gregory Walz is a Senior Drilling Advisor with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Gregory has thirty-fve years of experience with onshore and
offshore operations, including deepwater, the arctic, and HTHP. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico
Institute of Technology. He is a member of the SPE, NACE, and ASME. Gregory has held various engineering, global technical support, and technology
development roles within ARCO, Vastar, BP, and Anadarko. Gregory is currently coordinating Anadarko’s 20ksi technology development.
Åsgard Subsea Compression – Design And Early Operations

This presentation will provide an overview of the Åsgard subsea compression project, business case, qualifcation, project
execution and operation experience to date.
Rune Mode Ramberg is Chief Engineer Subsea Technology and Operations at Statoil and has 25 years of experience within the oil and gas industry.
His experience includes research, early phase development, project execution and feld operations. Ramberg has been heavily involved in technology
development and implementation of new technology in projects. The projects includes Norne, Åsgard, Ormen Lange, Tordis subsea separation,
Tyrihans, Gullfaks and Åsgard subsea compression. In 2007 he was seconded to Chevron and worked with the Jack & St. Malo development in Gulf of
Mexico. He worked in Houston for 5 years, the last 3 as Technology Manager for the Statoil Houston offce.
